Advertising should never overwhelm a website’s content. This works to the advantage of both the publisher and the advertiser - visitors are able to access the content they are looking for (ensuring repeat visits), and limited advertising spots gives advertisers more prominence and less competition for eyeballs.

This blog offers five 125×125 ad spots, prominently placed ‘above the fold’ on every page, except the homepage which will always remain free of advertising. Ads are not rotated - once your block has been uploaded, it will remain there until you decide not to renew, or wish to use a different image. Ads are presented horizontally, meaning every block receives equal exposure.

Audience

Community Spark attracts a focused audience of online community developers. The majority of visitors to the site are forum developers and blog authors. Industry professionals have also been known to drop by from time to time. By advertising on Community Spark, you will be ensuring your brand is seen by those that matter when it comes to building online communities.

Statistics

Community Spark launched on 3 March 2007 so you can be confident that you will not be advertising on a site that is about to disappear. New content is posted to the site on average three times per week.

I do not accept advertising for products or services that are illegal, obscene or otherwise undesirable. This includes, but is not limited to, adult, gambling and hacking/cracking websites. Advertising is currently priced at $35 per month. This is subject to change at any time, however should the price increase, current advertisers may renew one time at the previous, lower rate.
