Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

merry christmas from community spark

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all readers a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. This blog has been going since March 2007 and a lot has changed in that time. One thing has remained constant though – your continued support and involvement. Thank you.

I have some great article ideas lined up for the coming weeks, and may even dabble with a video – the concept is still being perfected in my mind, but I am getting excited about it already. I still want to satisfy you better though, so please use the comments section on this post to ask me any questions you may have about community building. If you don’t have any specific questions, but want me to examine a specific area of community development in future articles, again please let me know.

If you’re looking for a great Christmas present, check out my review of Patrick O’Keefe’s book Managing Online Forums – simply subscribe to receive new blog posts by email and you’re in with a chance of getting a free copy.

In the meantime, thank you once again and all the very best to you, your friends and your family this Christmas season.

Hi Community Spark,

Merry Christmas and happy Newyear back to you.

On many websites, blogs and other online publications I see the use of pictures. Where can I find a good source of license free, copyright free images that I can use on my own website?

My main problem is finding images because im building my first website, and it looks very empty and plain without images. I need images that do not cost money, but I am allowed to use.. preferably of people as my website is a community website also.

Thank you so much in advanced and best wishes,
Shane Morrigan
